Nokia N9 – Review

Nokia N9 150x150 Nokia N9 ReviewDesign

The first impression we get is this device very, very attractive. Nokia N9 is a device with one piece polycarbonate material, which has a minimalist design. There are no hardware buttons on the front, there is only the volume buttons and side lock button to the right. Nokia N9 has only 12.1mm thick.

The first thing you realize is a large AMOLED screen with a size of 3.9 inches, and only left a little space around the screen. Nokia N9 AMOLED screen has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Nokia N9-screen display is clear and bright, with a composition of color looks sharp. With anti-glare feature, we still see the display clearly on the screen even under the sun, and the screen is protected with the Nokia N9 Gorilla Glass which makes it resistant to shocks and scratches.

Exactly at the top there is a slot micro SIM, and the right side there is a micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack port. The rear there is an 8 megapixel camera complete with LED flash. And speaker holes visible at the bottom of this device. We were a little difficult to open a micro USB port for charging the battery and hard to remove micro SIM.

Behind the casing, the Nokia N9 is powered by a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and the Nokia N9 is available in two options of 16 or 64GB.

MeeGo is designed specifically for the Nokia N9 who do not have a hardware button, so rely on us to operate the touch of a finger. Nokia gives a different touch on MeeGo when compared to Symbian. Nokia N9

Cameras, Video and Audio

High-end Nokia devices must always be equipped with a camera with super quality with the support of Carl-Zeiss optics. Likewise with the Nokia N9 comes with 8 megapixel camera with Carl-Zeiss optics.

Although the Nokia N9 has a megapixel camera with a high, but the resulting picture quality is rather disappointing. There are many stains on the resulting image when using the auto mode, so need extra effort to clean up stains that exist in the resulting picture. Nokia N9 camera has features such as flash, scene, face detection, and much more. Camera Nokia N9 is also capable of recording 720p HD video.

Multimedia features offered by Nokia N9 very interesting, very good audio quality thanks to N9 technology support Dolby Digital Plus. Watching video on a 3.9 inch screen Nokia N9 couples are also entertaining.

Nokia N9

Connectivity

Nokia N9 It supports HSDPA 1.4Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. Nokia N9 also comes with Near Field Communications (NFC). NFC enables us to transfer data between devices in close proximity, this feature can be used as a means of payment. To transfer data to a PC can be via the micro USB port with the included data cable. Nokia N9 can also be used as a WiFi hotspot device with a maximum of five devices.

Concerns of MeeGo platform is the availability of support in the future, because Nokia has come out of the project MeeGo and focus on devices based on Windows Phone 7.

For those of you who like or narcissists like pictures of this device should postpone buying until tungu latest updates that improve the performance of the camera was released.

Nokia N9 comes with a nice design, large screen with good quality and comes with MeeGo platform that could compete with Android and IOS.

Nokia N9 is a very nice, but unfortunately the lack of support.
